Dua Zahra Imran Ali's Story

Dua’s childhood is being negatively impacted by her heart defects. Her physical growth is slow, and she does not have much energy. This makes it hard for her to interact with her parents or play with other kids. But her future looks uncertain if she does not have heart surgery. The cost of the surgery is out of her family’s reach. We urge you to donate and save Dua’s little heart.

Four-year-old Dua Zahra, a resident of Bhakkar, has been suffering from cyanosis, dyspnea, and repeated episodes of chest pain. Her parents noticed her deteriorating health recently. They took her to the local hospital. After running some diagnostic tests, the cardiologist diagnosed her with multiple heart defects, including ventricular septal defect (VSD) and severe pulmonary hypertension. The doctor advised her to undergo open-heart surgery for VSD closure.

She lives with her parents and one sibling in a rented house. Her father is the only breadwinner for the family and earns PKR 25,000 monthly as a laborer. The family was already struggling to make ends meet, and the cost of this life-saving heart surgery was simply too much for them to bear. Her father said in a depressed tone:

“Since the day my daughter entered this world, she has faced an uphill battle with multiple heart defects. Every single day has been a relentless struggle for her. Today, I come to you with a plea that resonates from the depths of my heart. I implore you to join us in giving her a chance at a brighter future, filled with hope and possibilities.”

One of their relatives told them about Transparent Hands, and we have registered her case. We will give her the best care possible, as we have assured her parents. It is our collective duty to help those who are struggling. Help us give her the chance she deserves to live a long, healthy, and happy life. Any amount, no matter how small, will help us get closer to our goal of healing her. Discover the patient list
