Save Hafsa Tehreem’s Life With Heart Surgery
Hafsa Tehreem's Story
Meet Hafsa Tehreem, a 10-year-old brave girl from Rajanpur, who has been experiencing breathlessness and chest discomfort since birth. She’s also suffering from a poor appetite and slow growth. Concerned about her health, her parents consulted a doctor. After running some diagnostic tests, the doctor diagnosed her with Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) and Right ventricular volume overload (RVVO). Atrial Septal Defect is an abnormal opening in the wall dividing the upper heart chambers. The doctor advised ASD closure surgery to save her life.
Hafsa studies in a school and faces extreme difficulty focusing on her studies. She is battling a serious heart condition. Hafsa has become weak and even mild to moderate physical activity causes extreme fatigue. Her parents long to give her a bright future, but they don’t have the financial ability to pay for the costly cardiac surgery. She lives in a two-room rented house with her five family members. Her father is a teacher and earns PKR 70,000 per month. With a monthly rent of PKR 7000 and utility bills averaging PKR 2000, they barely make ends meet. In addition, they have a staggering loan of PKR 2,200,000, leaving them with no option to pay for Hafsa’s surgery.
A glimmer of hope arose when a neighbor told them about Transparent Hands. They swiftly registered her case and asked us for help.
Hina’s parents said with tear-filled eyes:
“We feel helpless when we see her struggle. We’re unable to get her the life-saving treatment she needs. She is our joy and light. We dream of the day when she can run and play like other kids. Kindly help us overcome this situation.”
Instead of running, playing, and laughing with other children, Hafsa often sits quietly, unable to join in. Her heart needs mending. Your contribution can be the difference between a life filled with limitations and a future where she can laugh, live, and grow like other kids.
Consider donating today to give her a second chance at life.
