Muhammad Haseeb's Story

Muhammad Haseeb is a special child with a life-threatening heart condition. He suffers every day due to a congenital cardiac defect that requires immediate attention. You can save Muhammad Haseeb’s life by donating for his open heart surgery.

Six-year-old Muhammad Haseeb, a resident of Chakwal, was born with Down Syndrome. However, Down Syndrome is not the only condition he suffers from. He has also been enduring shortness of breath on mild exertion and discoloration of skin and nails since his birth. His parents took him for a consultation. Upon consultation, and after going through a number of diagnostic tests, Muhammad Haseeb was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot. Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) is a cardiac ailment that affects newborns and children and is caused by a combination of four congenital (existing at birth) heart abnormalities. The abnormalities happen at the same time and affect how blood flows through the heart and lungs. After the diagnosis, the cardiologist advised Haseeb to undergo Angiography followed by an Open Heart Surgery for Total Correction. Haseeb’s mother shared her distress with us in the following words:

“We were absolutely shattered when we found out that Haseeb suffers from not just one but two conditions: Down Syndrome and a congenital cardiac defect. Things were already difficult and this news felt like a devastating hurricane. If you’re reading this, please help us.”

Haseeb’s parents were desperate, but they finally found out about Transparent Hands. They contacted us and we registered Haseeb’s case. We are determined to provide him with the treatment he needs. Now, all we need is your support and generous donations to save Muhammad Haseeb’s life. Please come forward and donate for his life-saving open heart surgery and help him live his life to the fullest. Your donations will certainly make a lasting impact.

Muhammad Haseeb's Story

Six-year-old Muhammad Haseeb, a resident of Chakwal, was suffering from bluish discoloration of the skin and shortness of breath since birth. He was taken to a hospital where he was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) – a congenital heart disease. Haseeb was advised to undergo Angiography and Open Heart Surgery for Total Correction. For this purpose, he was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital, Lahore. His open heart surgery was successfully performed by Dr. Muhammad Asim Khan on 26-05-22. Eight days later, he was discharged in satisfactory condition. We were able to get this procedure done with the help of the Pakistan Children’s Heart Foundation (PCHF). Muhammad Haseeb looks forward to a healthy future.
