Save Sheeza’s Life with Cardiac Surgery

Sheeza Noor's Story
Sheeza Noor, a 2-year-old girl from Swabi, has been suffering from severe health issues since the day she was born. Her parents noticed early on that she would often struggle to breathe, even during mild physical activity like crawling or playing. She is weak and underweight compared to other children of her age. Her poor growth and persistent weakness are constant sources of worry for her family. Recently, her parents took her to a local hospital and consulted a doctor. After a detailed medical evaluation, the doctor diagnosed Sheeza with Large Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) along with Coarctation of the Aorta. These are two serious congenital heart defects that affect the normal flow of blood in the body. The doctor strongly advised Coarctation Repair Surgery to correct the narrowing of the aorta.
Without this surgery, her condition will continue to deteriorate, putting her life at risk. The doctor warned that delaying the procedure may lead to heart failure or even sudden complications that can be fatal.
Sheeza lives in her own modest house with a large joint family of nine members. Her father grinds wheat, while her grandfather works as a driver. Their combined monthly income is around PKR 50,000, which is barely enough to manage daily household needs. The family also has to pay PKR 1,500 for utility bills, and PKR 1,000 for educational expenses. Moreover, they are burdened by a loan of PKR 500,000. With so many financial responsibilities, the cost of Sheeza’s surgery is far beyond their means. In desperation, her parents have turned to Transparent Hands, hoping for support in this critical time. Her parents said in despair:
“We are living each day in fear. Watching her struggle is heartbreaking. We just want her to get better and live a healthy life. With this surgery, you can give Sheeza the life she deserves.”
Step forward and help this little girl live a healthy and happy life. Your kindness can be the reason her heart beats stronger tomorrow.
