Shehzadi Wali Muhammad's Story

Shehzadi Wali, a 54-year-old woman from Shaheed Benazirabad, Sindh, is experiencing pain due to a lump in her right breast. Simple activities that once brought joy to her life, now seem impossible due to fatigue and discomfort. Moreover, Shehzadi is unable to sleep at night peacefully. Recently, she visited a doctor at a local hospital. After performing a comprehensive examination, the doctor diagnosed Shehzadi with right-sided breast cancer. Her doctor strongly recommended Modified Radical Mastectomy (MRM) to restore her ability to lead a normal life. However, Shehzadi can’t pay for her surgery.

If Shehzadi does not receive timely surgical intervention, her condition may deteriorate further. The cancer may spread to other parts of her body, leading to severe complications and a significant decline in her quality of life.

Shehzadi is unmarried and lives alone in a tent. She relies on financial support from her relatives to cover her basic living expenses. However, life has always been a struggle, and managing her household alone has been incredibly difficult for her. Living in extreme poverty, Shehzadi now faces an even greater challenge due to her breast cancer. The cost of her life-saving surgery is far beyond her means and her relatives are unable to afford it. Shehzadi turned to Transparent Hands and asked for help during this desperate time.

With tears in her eyes, Shehzadi expressed her heartfelt plea as follows:

“In this old age, it’s hard for me to fight with this illness. I am losing hope now. This pain is unbearable, and I have no one at home to care for me. My relatives are doing everything they can to help me, but this surgery is something they can’t afford. Please help me overcome this cancer and enable me to live a pain-free life.”

Transparent Hands has registered Shehzadi’s case but we can’t help her alone. We need your support to help her get the much-needed surgery. This treatment is essential in allowing her to live a healthy life again.

We ask you to come forward and contribute for Shehzadi’s surgery. Your support will enable her to win her battle against cancer and live a life free from suffering.

Shehzadi Wali Muhammad's Story

Shehzadi Umar, a 54-year-old woman from Shaheed Benazirabad, Sindh, faced overwhelming challenges in her life. She was living with pain and a noticeable lump in her right breast. The fatigue and discomfort that accompanied this condition made even simple daily activities seem impossible.

Eventually, driven by growing concern, Shehzadi visited a local hospital and consulted a doctor. After a thorough medical examination and tests, the doctors diagnosed her with right-sided breast cancer. The doctor advised her to undergo a right Modified Radical Mastectomy (MRM), a crucial procedure to remove the cancer and give her the chance to return to a normal life. However, the cost of this life-saving surgery was far beyond what Shehzadi could afford.

Shehzadi’s circumstances were already deeply challenging. She is unmarried and lives alone in a tent, with no permanent shelter or household comforts. She receives some financial support from her relatives. Despite their kindness, their help is only enough to cover her basic living expenses. Facing such a serious health crisis alone was devastating, especially since she couldn’t arrange money for the surgery.

During this challenging time, Shehzadi reached out to Transparent Hands for help. After learning about her condition, we promptly registered her case.

On March 10, 2025, Shehzadi was admitted to Bait-ul-Sukoon Cancer Hospital in Karachi. There, on March 11, 2025, Dr. Arooj Abbasi performed her right Modified Radical Mastectomy (MRM), successfully removing the cancer-affected tissue. After receiving necessary post-operative care, Shehzadi was discharged in a stable condition on March 14, 2025.

Shehzadi shared her feelings as follows:

“I was living in constant fear and pain. This surgery has filled me with hope. I am deeply grateful to everyone who stood by me during this difficult time.”

Today, Shehzadi is recovering, and looks forward to a healthier future. Her treatment was made possible just because of your generous support. Shehzadi is deeply grateful to you for helping her during her time of need.
