Secure Khair Un Nisa’s Future Through Heart Surgery

Khair Un Nisa's Story
Khair Un Nisa, a one-year-old girl from Rahim Yar Khan, has been suffering from a serious heart condition since birth. Her parents noticed early on that she struggled to breathe, and her body turned blue due to a lack of oxygen. Even the simplest movements left her exhausted and breathless. Concerned for their daughter’s health, they took her for medical consultation. After a series of tests, the doctor diagnosed her with a complex congenital heart defect—Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV) with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). This condition severely affects blood circulation, making it difficult for her heart to supply oxygen-rich blood to her body. To give her a chance to have a healthy life, the doctors have recommended Open-Heart Surgery for total correction. However, her family is unable to pay for her surgery.
Khair Un Nisa’s condition is worsening with each passing day. Without timely surgical intervention, she may face a high risk of life-threatening complications. The thought of losing their beloved daughter is unbearable for her parents, who watch helplessly as she struggles with every breath.
Khair Un Nisa lives in a modest rented house with her parents and one brother. Her father, a hardworking cleaner, earns only PKR 26,000 per month. With a monthly rent of PKR 4000, utility bills of PKR 3000, and basic household expenses, they barely make ends meet. Her father does everything he can to provide for his family, but their financial hardships make it impossible for them to afford the cost of this life-saving surgery.
With tears in her eyes, Khair Un Nisa’s mother shared her plea as follows:
“Every day, I hold my baby in my arms, I fear losing her. I wish I could take away her pain, but I am powerless. We cannot afford the surgery that can save her life. Please help us.”
Khair Un Nisa’s survival depends on your generosity. Your support can make all the difference, providing her with a future free from pain and struggle. Please donate and be the reason this little girl gets a second chance at life.

Khair Un Nisa's Story
Khair Un Nisa, a one-year-old girl from Rahim Yar Khan, was born with a life-threatening heart condition. From her earliest days, her parents noticed that she struggled to breathe and often turned blue due to a lack of oxygen in her blood. Even simple movements made her gasp for breath and left her visibly exhausted. Her parents consulted a cardiologist, and after a series of diagnostic tests, Khair Un Nisa was diagnosed with Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV) with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). The doctor recommended a CP-shunt procedure, which was the only option to save her life.
However, the cost of this major surgery was far beyond the family’s financial reach. Khair Un Nisa’s father works as a cleaner and earns just PKR 26,000 per month. The family lives in a modest rented house. Their income barely covers basic household needs for their family of four. Despite his hard work and dedication, Khair Un Nisa’s father simply could not afford the high cost of his daughter’s surgery. During their search for help, the family approached Transparent Hands. After learning about her case, we promptly registered Khair Un Nisa’s case.
On April 21, 2025, Khair Un Nisa was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital, Lahore. Dr. Asim Khan successfully performed her heart surgery. The procedure went smoothly, and after careful monitoring, she was discharged in stable condition on April 27, 2025.
Her parents shared their heartfelt emotions as follows:
“We were afraid that we would lose our daughter. Watching her struggle every day broke our hearts. This surgery has changed everything. She can breathe easily now and smiles more than ever. We are beyond grateful to everyone who made this surgery possible. You’ve given her the gift of life.”
Today, Khair Un Nisa is recovering well, and her breathing has improved significantly. Thanks to your generosity, this little girl now has a future full of hope and possibilities. You and the Pakistan Children’s Heart Foundation made a positive impact on her life.
