Seema Bibi Desperately Needs a C-Section

Seema Bibi's Story
Seema Bibi, a 34-year-old woman from Karachi, is anxiously awaiting the birth of her sixth child. Throughout her pregnancy, she had hoped for a smooth delivery, just like her previous five. However, during a recent check-up, the doctors told Seema that her baby is in a breech position, making a normal delivery too risky. To ensure a safe birth for both the mother and child, the doctors have strongly recommended a C-section. While the surgery is crucial for her and her baby’s well-being, the cost of the procedure is far beyond what her family can afford.
Seema and her husband are filled with fear and uncertainty. If she does not undergo the C-section, both she and her baby may face serious complications, including prolonged labor, birth injuries, and life-threatening distress. The thought of putting her baby’s life at risk is unbearable for Seema, but so is the reality of not having the financial means to proceed with the surgery.
Seema’s husband works at a private firm and earns PKR 30,000 per month, struggling to meet the needs of their growing family. Their monthly house rent of PKR 14,000 takes up nearly half of his earnings. With three school-going children, educational expenses and daily necessities further increase their financial hardships. Despite his efforts, there is no room in their budget for the cost of Seema’s C-section. During this challenging time, Seema contacted Transparent Hands and asked for help.
With a heavy heart, Seema shared her worries as follows:
“As a mother, all I want is to bring my baby into this world safely. But the financial burden of this surgery is something we simply cannot bear. I am scared for my baby’s life, and I humbly ask for your help to ensure a safe delivery.”
Seema’s life and her baby’s health depend on your kindness. By contributing for her surgery, you can help bring a new life safely into this world and ensure that Seema remains a healthy and loving mother to her children. Your support can give this family hope during their time of need.

Seema Bibi's Story
Seema Bibi, a 34-year-old mother from Karachi, had been looking forward to welcoming her sixth child. However, her joy turned into anxiety when her doctor discovered that her baby was in a breech position. Due to the risks involved in a natural delivery under such circumstances, her gynecologist strongly advised an elective C-section. This decision was made to ensure the safety of both the mother and child. Unfortunately, the cost of the procedure was beyond her family’s financial capacity.
Seema’s husband worked at a private firm and earned just PKR 30,000 a month. Nearly half of this income went towards paying their monthly rent of PKR 14,000. With three school-going children and rising household expenses, the family was struggling to make ends meet. There was no way they could save enough for Seema’s surgery. During this time of uncertainty, they turned to Transparent Hands for help. After listening to their concerns, we registered Seema’s case.
With the help of generous donors, she was admitted to Altamash Hospital, Karachi. On March 8, 2025, Dr. Bilqees performed the C-section successfully. Seema delivered a healthy baby boy, and both mother and child remained under observation for one day. She was discharged on March 9, 2025, in good health.
Seema expressed her heartfelt gratitude as follows:
“I thank everyone who supported me during my time of need. I can’t believe that I was able to receive this surgery. You brought immense happiness to our family. My baby boy and I are safe today because of your generosity."
With your support, Seema’s safe delivery became possible. She is now ready to spend a happy life with her children, including her newborn.
You not only helped bring a new life into the world but also brought peace and happiness to a deserving family.
