Shabana Javed 's Story

Shabana was recently diagnosed with uterine fibroids, which are causing her significant discomfort and interfering with her family life. She also has difficulty performing household tasks because of pelvic pain and discomfort. She is also unable to sleep well at night because of her frequent urination, which causes her to feel tired and fatigued throughout the day. Furthermore, her heavy menstrual bleeding has made it difficult for her to care for herself and her children. Unfortunately, she is unable to afford the surgery due to financial constraints. Shabana awaits total abdominal hysterectomy, and your generous contributions will help her reclaim her life and return to her daily routine.

Shabana, a 29-year-old Karachi resident, has been experiencing heavy menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain, and frequent urination. She visited a nearby clinic, where the doctor prescribed some medications. But her condition gradually worsened. She went to the doctor for a consultation. She was diagnosed with a fibroid uterus after a thorough examination and diagnostic tests. The doctor advised her to undergo a total abdominal hysterectomy.

She lives with her husband and two children. Her husband is a daily wager and earns PKR 20,000 per month. Her husband’s financial situation is unstable, so he cannot pay for the surgery. She said it with teary eyes.

“The pain and discomfort hinder my ability to be the mother my children need. Your kind donation towards my surgery can bring back the joy of everyday life and enable me to care for them without hindrance. Please, during this challenging time, consider lending a helping hand.”

She contacted Transparent Hands for assistance after exhausting all other possibilities, and we have already registered her case because she has not given up hope. She depends on your help to get the medical care she requires to stay healthy and take care of her children. Shabana awaits total abdominal hysterectomy, and your generous donations can help her through this difficult time.

Shabana Javed 's Story

Shabana, a determined 29-year-old resident of Karachi, has been grappling with heavy menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain, and frequent urination, which have significantly impacted her quality of life. Seeking relief, she initially visited a nearby clinic where medications were prescribed, but unfortunately, her condition continued to worsen. Determined to find a solution, she sought a second opinion from a doctor, who conducted a thorough examination and diagnostic tests, leading to a diagnosis of a fibroid uterus—a condition characterized by the presence of noncancerous tumors in the uterine wall. The recommended course of action was a total abdominal hysterectomy, a surgical procedure aimed at removing the uterus. Faced with this daunting prospect, Shabana turned to Transparent Hands, refusing to give up hope in her pursuit of a healthier future. Promising her the best possible medical care, we rallied support and generous donations, offering Shabana a beacon of hope amidst her struggles.

Shabana's journey towards healing led her to Murshid Hospital, Karachi, where she was admitted for her surgery. Under the skilled hands of Dr. Ammara, the total abdominal hysterectomy was successfully performed on 6-7-2023. The surgery aimed to remove the fibroid uterus, alleviating Shabana's symptoms and offering her a chance at a life free from pain and discomfort.
