Shahnaz Akhtar, aged 51 years, belongs to the small town of tehsil Kallar Kahar. She was diagnosed with Abnormal Uterine Bleeding (DUB) 6 years back. Abnormal Uterine Bleeding (DUB) is irregular uterine bleeding that occurs in the absence of recognizable pelvic pathology, general medical disease, or pregnancy. She went to a doctor and got her symptomatic treatment. But her bleeding increased day by day. After the ultrasound, the doctors prescribed her a surgical procedure THO + BSO.
