Shehnaz Bibi Desperately Needs CABG for Survival

Shehnaz Bibi's Story
Shehnaz Bibi, a 74-year-old woman from Pakpattan, has been struggling with chest pain and breathlessness for the past several months. With each passing day, her condition has become more unbearable. Ordinary tasks like walking a few steps or even speaking for too long leave her gasping for breath. In search of relief, Shehnaz went to a local hospital and consulted a doctor. After a series of diagnostic tests and evaluations, the doctor diagnosed Shehnaz with Triple Vessel Coronary Artery Disease, a serious condition that blocks the major arteries supplying blood to the heart. Her doctor advised Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) to save her life. However, Shehnaz’s family can’t afford her surgery.
Without this surgery, Shehnaz’s condition will rapidly deteriorate. Shehnaz may experience an increased risk of heart attacks and other cardiovascular issues due to untreated blockages.
Shehnaz’s financial situation is heartbreaking. There is no earning member in the family. Her elderly husband is too frail to work, and her two children are disabled and require care themselves. The family lives in extreme poverty and survives solely on the kindness of relatives and neighbors who provide them with basic necessities. However, the cost of this life-saving surgery is far beyond what anyone in her circle can afford. During this challenging time, Shehnaz has reached out to Transparent Hands and asked for support.
Shehnaz said with teary eyes:
“I’ve lived a long life filled with struggle, but I still wish to see a few peaceful years with my children. Their smiles are my only strength. With this heart illness, every day is a challenge for me. I ask you to please support my life-saving surgery.”
Let us stand by Shehnaz Bibi during her time of dire need. Your support can grant her the gift of life, hope, and a few more moments of love with her family.

Shehnaz Bibi's Story
Shehnaz Bibi, a 74-year-old woman from Pakpattan, was suffering from chest pain and breathlessness. She struggled to walk even a few steps without pausing to catch her breath. Speaking for too long left her gasping, and daily life became a constant battle against exhaustion and fear. Desperate to find relief, Shehnaz visited a local hospital. After a series of thorough diagnostic tests and consultations, the doctor diagnosed Shehnaz with Triple Vessel Coronary Artery Disease. This severe condition involves the narrowing and blockage of the three main arteries that supply blood to the heart. Without necessary intervention, her life was at risk. The doctor strongly advised Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), a complex surgical procedure to restore healthy blood flow to her heart.
However, Shehnaz’s family was unable to pay for her surgery. There is no earning member in the household. Her elderly husband is unwell and doesn’t work now. Her two children are disabled and depend on Shehnaz’s care. The entire family survives solely on the charity of kind-hearted relatives and neighbors who provide them with food and essentials. With her health deteriorating rapidly, Shehnaz’s family turned to Transparent Hands for support. After listening to their concerns, we registered Shehnaz’s case.
On April 29, 2025, Shehnaz was admitted to Evercare Hospital, Lahore. On April 30, 2025, Dr. Ajmal Hassan successfully performed her Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG). After receiving attentive post-operative care, Shehnaz was discharged on May 5, 2025.
Shehnaz expressed her gratitude in heartfelt words as follows:
"I had lost all hope of seeing better days. Your support saved my life. From the bottom of my heart, I thank every person who stood by me when I needed it most.”
Today, Shehnaz is slowly recovering and once again able to breathe and walk with ease. You made it possible for her to undergo a life-saving treatment. Her family is incredibly thankful to you.
