Shehzad Islam 's Story

Shehzad Islam, a 48-year-old man from Rahim Yar Khan, is experiencing pain due to a lump in his right breast. For six months, his health has been continuously declining. What began as mild discomfort gradually turned into severe pain and fatigue. Concerned, he visited a hospital, and consulted a doctor. After performing a thorough examination, the doctor diagnosed Shehzad with right-sided breast cancer. The doctor has recommended a Modified Radical Mastectomy (right) as the only way to remove the cancerous tissues and prevent the disease from spreading further. However, the cost of the surgery is beyond his reach.

If Shehzad does not undergo the surgery, his condition can take a devastating turn. Breast cancer is aggressive, and it may spread to other organs, making it more difficult to treat. Moreover, it may lead to severe pain, infections, and even life-threatening complications.

Despite his battle with cancer, Shehzad continues to work hard as a driver, earning PKR 50,000 per month. He lives in his own house with his family, but their financial burdens are immense. They pay PKR 8000 for utility bills and PKR 3000 for their children’s education. On top of this, they are burdened with a staggering loan of PKR 500,000, which makes it impossible for Shehzad to afford the cost of his life-saving surgery. The stress of his illness and financial struggle has left him emotionally drained.

With a heavy heart, Shehzad expressed his heartfelt plea as follows:

“I am doing everything I can to provide for my family, but this disease is making it harder for me to survive each day. I fear for my children’s future. I want to fight this cancer, but I cannot do it alone. Please help me get the life-saving surgery.”

Shehzad’s battle with cancer is one he should not have to face alone. Your generous support can save his life and allow him to be there for his children. Kindly donate today and give Shehzad a chance to live a healthy and cancer-free life.

Shehzad Islam 's Story

Shehzad Islam Ali Khan, a 48-year-old man from Rahim Yar Khan, had spent the last six months watching his health steadily decline. What began as mild discomfort in his right breast grew into a painful lump that brought him severe pain and fatigue. Once an energetic man who fulfilled his responsibilities without pause, Shehzad found himself struggling just to get through the day. Deeply worried, he decided to visit a hospital for a proper consultation. After a thorough examination and diagnostic workup, the doctor diagnosed Shehzad with right-sided breast cancer. The doctor strongly recommended a Modified Radical Mastectomy (right) to remove the cancerous tissues and stop the disease from spreading further.

However, the cost of the procedure was far more than Shehzad and his family could afford. Despite his serious illness, Shehzad continued working as a driver, earning PKR 50,000 per month. Though he lives in his own home with his family, the daily expenses and existing financial burdens left no room for the heavy cost of cancer surgery. Faced with the terrifying reality of untreated cancer, Shehzad and his family were desperate for help.

During this difficult time, they learned about Transparent Hands and reached out to us. After understanding his situation, we swiftly registered Shehzad’s case.

On March 10, 2025, Shehzad was admitted to Bait-ul-Sukoon Cancer Hospital. The very next day, on March 11, 2025, Dr. Urooj Abbasi performed his Modified Radical Mastectomy, skillfully removing the cancerous tissues. After proper post-operative care, Shehzad was discharged in stable condition on March 13, 2025.

Shehzad shared his heartfelt gratitude as follows:

“I had lost hope of affording this surgery on my own. Thanks to your support, I’ve been given a chance to fight this disease, and I look forward to being there for my family. Your help has given me new hope in life.”

Your generosity has not only saved Shehzad’s life but also brought relief and comfort to his entire family. They are truly thankful for your kindness and support.
