Support Abida Parveen’s C-Section
Abida Parveen's Story
Abida Parveen, a 34-year-old resident of Fateh Jang, is in the 30th week of her fourth pregnancy. Her first child was born via normal delivery and is now 6 years old. Her second child, born via C-section, unfortunately, passed away at 7.5 months old due to pneumonia. Her third child, a daughter, was also born via C-section and is now 1.5 years old.
Abida’s financial situation is dire. Her husband works as a laborer, earning between PKR 700-800 per day. The family does not own their own home and instead lives in a rented one-room house near the village of Fateh Jang.
With her husband as the sole earner and the family’s limited resources, Abida’s financial condition is quite poor. They are barely able to make ends meet and are dependent on the husband’s meager income.
Given Abida’s previous pregnancy complications and the doctor’s recommendation for a C-section delivery for this fourth pregnancy, the financial burden of the procedure is a major concern for the family. They simply do not have the means to afford the cost of the C-section and the associated medical expenses.
Abida said it in a depressed tone:
“My husband, a laborer, earns very little, and we cannot afford the C-section my doctor has recommended for my high-risk pregnancy. I humbly request your generous support to help cover the medical expenses so I can safely deliver my fourth child.”
Abida Parveen’s plea reflects the urgency and genuine concern she feels for her unborn child. In her time of need, she has turned to Transparent Hands, hoping for support. We have the power to extend a helping hand to Abida and her family. Abida Parveen's Story
Abida Parveen, a 34-year-old resident of Jhang, faced a daunting challenge when she awaited the arrival of her fourth child. Abida’s first child was born by normal delivery but her other two children were born via C-section. Due to her previous history of two C-section procedures, her gynecologist recommended an elective cesarean procedure to reduce the risk.
However, her financial constraints cast a shadow of uncertainty over her pregnancy. Abida’s husband is a laborer and earns barely enough to cover the basic living expenses. They wanted to safely welcome their child but covering the expense of her surgery was beyond their financial means.
Recognizing the urgency of the situation, we registered her case. On 25th June 2024, she was successfully admitted to Bakhtawar Amin Trust Teaching Hospital. Dr. Tahreem Rashid skillfully performed her C-section procedure, ensuring the safe delivery of her child. Throughout the operation, Abida showed resilience and determination. She was discharged on 27th June 2024 with renewed hope and confidence.
Your donation not only made her safe C-Section possible but also provided emotional support and reassurance to her family during this critical time.
Abida expressed her emotions as follows:
“I will never forget the kindness of all the donors who supported me and made it possible for me to deliver my child via a safe C-section procedure. This medical procedure has provided me and my child a healthy future.”
Abida Parveen delivered a healthy baby girl, filling their home with joy and happiness. She was filled with gratitude. The support from the donors made a lasting impact on Abida’s life. It marked the start of a new life filled with the joys of motherhood. We are thankful to all donors, who contributed to making her C-section procedure possible.
