Alam Zaib's Story

Alam lost his fingers in an accident and this disability is adversely affecting his socioeconomic status. He needs prosthetic fingers to improve his mental and emotional health. Due to financial constraints, he is unable to obtain a prosthetic finger glove. We can provide it to him with your support. We urge you to support Alam’s Left Zipped Glove with your generous donation.

Alam Zaib, a 42-year-old resident of Mansehra, experienced a sad incident while working in the corn fields six years ago. His left-hand fingers were crushed inside the corn cutter machine. He was taken to the emergency ward for first aid, but the doctors could not save the fingers of his left hand. They had to amputate the affected fingers. The doctor advised him to get a left-zipped glove. A plastic zipped glove can help him restore his hand’s appearance.

He lives in a rented house with his wife and three children. He earns just PKR 14,000 per month. He is not financially stable enough to pay for a zipped glove to improve his quality of life. He said in distress:

“The amputation is affecting my self-image and mental health. I need your donations to overcome this.”

Alam’s case has been registered with Transparent Hands, and we are determined to provide him with a left-zipped glove. Now, all we need is your support. Be the hope for this struggling man looking for a better life. We urge you to support Alam’s left zipped glove as much as you can so that his quality of life can be improved. Your donations will bring happiness and smiles back into his life. He and his family have placed their hopes in your hands. Even a small act of generosity can have a lasting impact. Even a donation as small as $10 can change his life.

We registered his case, and his artificial hand was fixed on 10-04-2023 under the supervision of Dr. Khalid. Your donations made it possible for us to improve the quality of his life.
