Muhammad Arham's Story

Arham’s ailing heart is affecting his ability to breathe and function normally. He needs total heart correction surgery to improve his quality of life and get a brighter future by correcting these heart defects and allowing for normal blood flow through the heart. The family’s financial situation, combined with the high cost of surgery, has left them in desperate need of financial support. We implore you to support Arham’s Total Correction Surgery so he can lead a normal life.

Five-year-old Arham, a resident of Sargodha, has been suffering from shortness of breath and cyanosis. His parents learned about his condition when he was one year old and took him to the local hospital. After a thorough evaluation and some diagnostic tests, the cardiologist diagnosed him with Tetralogy of Fallot  (TOF).  TOF involves four heart defects that change the way blood flows through the heart. The cardiac surgeon told him to get a Blalock-Taussig shunt (BTS), which is a small tube that connects the arterial circulation to the pulmonary circulation to get more blood to the lungs. His first surgery was performed two years ago. Recently, he revisited the hospital with the same symptoms, and the cardiac surgeon advised him to undergo total correction surgery along with BTS ligation.

He lives with his parents and one sibling in a rented house. His father is the family’s sole provider, earning PKR 12,000 per month. He exhausted all his resources in an attempt to provide him with the best medical care possible. However, the cost of the surgery is beyond his financial capacity, and he is now seeking help from kind-hearted individuals like you. He said in despair:

“It is heartbreaking to see my son suffer and not be able to do anything about it. The thought of being unable to provide him with the required surgery is a constant source of despair and fear for Arham’s future.”

Arham’s parents reached out to us, and we registered his case. With your financial support, we can make a difference in his life and give him a brighter future. Every contribution, big or small, will bring us closer to our goal of providing him with the life-saving surgery he desperately needs. We request that you join in our life-saving mission and support Arham’s Total Correction Surgery. Donate today and give this little fighter a chance to live life to the fullest.

Muhammad Arham's Story

Arham, a brave five-year-old boy from Sargodha, had trouble breathing and had a bluish color on his skin. His parents discovered his condition when he was just one year old and took him to the local hospital. After some tests, the doctor found out that he had a heart problem called tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). Arham had his first surgery two years ago, where a small tube called Blalock-Taussig shunt (BTS) was put in to help his blood flow better.

But recently, Arham had to go back to the hospital because he had symptoms again. The doctor told his family that he needed another surgery called total correction surgery, along with closing the BTS tube. However, Arham's family couldn't afford the cost of the surgery. Thankfully, Transparent Hands, an organization that helps people in need, registered Arham's case and raised the money required for his treatment.

Arham was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital in Lahore, where Dr. Asim, a skilled surgeon, performed the operation on February 25, 2023. After six days of being taken care of by the hospital staff, Arham was allowed to go home and start his recovery.

Thanks to the kind donations from people like you, Arham's surgery was successful, and he is now on his way to a healthier heart. Your contributions made a big difference not only to Arham but also to his family, who had been worried for a long time. Your support has given them hope and relief.
