Muhammad Dost Khan's Story

Dost Khan’s life has been full of hardships due to this disease. Dost is currently unable to put any weight on his legs without flinching in pain. But there exists a ray of hope for him. Your support can help Dost Khan get back on his feet. We urge you to Support Dost’s Knee Replacement Surgery and help him regain full mobility.

Dost Khan, a 53-year-old resident of Tur Der, has been suffering from knee Arthritis for a long time. It has been causing him great pain and discomfort. Now, it has also started restricting his ability to walk. Upon consultation, Dost Khan was diagnosed with Bilateral Osteoarthritis.

The only option to treat this damaged joint is total knee replacement surgery. During this process, the surgeon replaces the old joint with an artificial joint. The doctor will perform the surgery on both knees, one after another. While this surgery promises a pain-free life, it is certainly not an affordable procedure for him.

Unfortunately, Dost Khan cannot afford the hefty cost of knee replacement surgery. Due to this debilitating illness, Dost Khan has been unable to work. He used to work as a laborer, but now this joint pain is affecting his ability to work. In these circumstances, they are in no position to arrange for Muhammad Dost’s surgery. Dost shared his worries with Transparent Hands and told us:

“I’ve been using painkillers for years to deal with this excruciating pain. They have never worked for me, and the discomfort is only becoming worse. I don’t know when this pain will go away. Please help me.”

After a lot of distress, Dost Khan registered his case with Transparent Hands. We have assured him that we will arrange his surgery. But, that won’t be possible without your help. Therefore, we request you to support Dost’s Knee Replacement surgery as much as you can and help him get back on his feet.
