In December, Farida underwent a crucial surgery—tumor resection with neck dissection. This procedure was pivotal in her fight against cancer, aiming to alleviate her physical suffering and restore hope to her life.

Following the surgery, Farida's doctor recommended adjuvant radiation therapy to ensure a complete recovery, maximize her chances of long-term remission, and prevent the cancer from recurring. However, faced with overwhelming responsibilities and financial constraints, Farida was unable to afford the radiation therapy costs.

Farida received the course of necessary adjuvant radiation therapy sessions at the Combined Military Hospital in Lahore which started on February 16, 2024. This essential treatment targets any remaining cancer cells to reduce the risk of recurrence. Farida is deeply thankful to Transparent Hands and all the donors who played a critical role in her journey to recovery. Their support provided not only the needed medical care but also hope, relief, and a chance for a healthier future.

With the successful completion of her radiation therapy, she now looks towards a hopeful future.
