Irha Bibi's Story

Irha, is an adorable and innocent two-year-old girl residing in Hyderabad. Her bright eyes and infectious smile capture the hearts of all who encounter her. However, behind her cheerful facade lies a silent struggle. Irha has been robbed of the precious gift of hearing, leaving her isolated in a world devoid of sound. The doctor recommended Irha undergo cochlear implant surgery to reclaim the gift of hearing.

Born into a loving family, Irha shares a small two-room house with her parents and two siblings in Hyderabad. Unfortunately, her father is the sole earner, struggling to make ends meet with a meager monthly income of just PKR 15,000. He faces the daunting task of providing for the family’s daily expenses, utility bills, and groceries, leaving no room to afford the costly surgical expenses required to restore Irha’s hearing.

Irha’s father said in a depressed tone:

“It breaks my heart to see my daughter deprived of the simple joys that sound brings. I yearn to hear her laughter, see her face light up with delight at the melodies of nature, and witness the power of conversation connecting her with loved ones. But our financial situation has left me feeling utterly helpless. I cannot afford the life-changing surgery that Irha needs to restore her hearing.”

In their quest for hope, Irha’s family has turned to Transparent Hands, and we taken up Irha’s case, registering her for the necessary cochlear implant surgery. We launched a compassionate campaign to raise funds for Irha’s surgery, giving her the chance to reclaim the symphony of sound that has been absent from her life.
