Noreen Bibi's Story
Noreen Bibi is in terrible pain that can not be put into words. She has terrible abdominal pain that will not go away, so every day is a struggle for her. It hurts her physically and emotionally, and she feels helpless and alone. There is hope, though. A laparoscopic cholecystectomy can allow her to live a life free from this pain and suffering. She deserves to live a healthy and happy life, but unfortunately, she cannot afford this mandatory surgery. We urge you to donate generously and support Noreen Bibi’s laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
Noreen Bibi, a 30-year-old resident of Karachi, has been suffering from episodes of upper abdominal pain for the past few months. She went to the local clinic for an initial check-up. The doctor prescribed some painkillers to relieve the pain. However, she was not cured. She went to another hospital and underwent some diagnostic tests. Upon evaluation, she was diagnosed with gallstones. The doctor advised her to undergo a laparoscopic cholecystectomy. It is a surgical procedure that involves removing the gallbladder using small incisions and specialized equipment called a laparoscope. It is commonly used to treat gallstones and gallbladder inflammation.
She lives in a rented house with her husband and three children. Her husband is a daily wager who earns just PKR 25,000 monthly. He cannot afford to pay for the surgery on this meager income. Noreen Bibi said in a depressed tone:
“I simply cannot bear the prospect of spending the rest of my life in such excruciating pain. I have lost so much, it seems. Your contribution will make cholecystectomy surgery possible for me. I need your financial assistance in making this happen.”
Her case was registered with Transparent Hands, and we assured her that she would receive the very best medical care. But we can not do it without your financial help. Even a small contribution can bring her relief. Support Noreen Bibi’s laparoscopic cholecystectomy to provide her with a healthier future. She may be able to see a happier, more hopeful future because of your generosity.
