Samadya Bibi Bibi's Story

Samadya Bibi, a 46-year-old woman from Karachi, has been experiencing right upper abdominal pain for three years. The condition is accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and indigestion. She consulted a doctor who, after running lab tests and a thorough evaluation, diagnosed her with Cholelithiasis – hardened deposits formed in the gallbladder. Samadya was receiving symptomatic treatment but couldn’t get relief. For months now, this condition has taken a toll on her life, making even the simplest activities a struggle. Now, her doctor has recommended cholecystectomy, a surgery to remove the gallbladder. It is the only way to relieve her suffering and prevent further complications.

The sharp, stabbing pains in her abdomen have become a daily reality, turning her active life into one filled with anxiety and frustration. She is unable to take care of her children, cook delicious meals for them, and perform her household tasks. Her condition often confines her to bed. Samadya lives in a 3-marla rented house with her husband and children. Her husband, the sole breadwinner in the family, is a daily wage laborer and earns just PKR 30,000. With nine children to support, house rent of PKR 7000, utility bills of PKR 3500, and educational expenses of PKR 6000, they have no room left for savings to pay for the essential surgery.

Samadya Bibi said with tears in her eyes:

“The thought of continuing to suffer from this pain and discomfort sends chills down my spine.  I feel helpless, knowing we can’t afford the surgery that would make me better. I request you to help me in undergoing this necessary surgery.”

The cholecystectomy surgery will not only ease Samadya’s pain but also give her the ability to perform routine tasks and take care of her children like she used to.

Let’s give Samadya Bibi the chance to live a normal and pain-free life. Your contributions can make a lasting difference for this mother and her family. Open your heart and give Samadya Bibi the gift of health and hope.

Samadya Bibi Bibi's Story

Samadya Bibi, a 46-year-old woman from Karachi, had been experiencing upper right abdominal pain and digestive discomfort for three years. The constant pain not only affected Samadya’s physical health but also disrupted her ability to manage her household. Due to her illness, her active life turned into one filled with discomfort and frustration. After she visited the doctor, she was diagnosed with cholelithiasis, a condition caused by gallstones. Her doctor recommended cholecystectomy, a surgical procedure to remove her gallbladder. However, the cost of the surgery was far beyond her family’s means.

Samadya lived in a modest rented house with her husband and nine children. Her husband, the sole breadwinner in the family, worked as a daily wage laborer and earned just PKR 30,000 per month. With nine children to support in addition to managing utility bills, house rent, and educational expenses, it was significantly challenging for her family to pay for her surgery. The family’s financial situation left them feeling helpless and overwhelmed. Realizing they needed assistance, they turned to Transparent Hands for help. Understanding Samadya’s condition, we quickly registered her case.

On 12th November 2024, Samadya was admitted to the Murshid Hospital in Karachi, where Dr. Attaullah performed her cholecystectomy. The surgery went smoothly, and she received essential post-operative care and monitoring. On 13th November, Samadya was discharged in satisfactory condition from the hospital.

Overwhelmed with gratitude, Samadya expressed her feelings as follows:

“I never thought I would find relief from this pain. Thank you for your kindness and for giving me a chance to live my life without suffering. You have truly been a blessing to me and my family.”

Through your support, Samadya’s life has changed for the better. She is now pain-free and can resume her daily activities with ease. Your support not only healed her but also brought peace and happiness to her family.
