Support Sanam Amir’s Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy

Sanam Amir's Story
Sanam Amir, a 37-year-old woman from Hyderabad, is experiencing pain in her upper right abdominal region. She often faces nausea and vomiting, especially after eating anything fatty. Worried about her condition, she went to a local hospital. After a detailed evaluation, the doctor diagnosed her with Cholelithiasis – formation of crystalized deposits in the gallbladder. To alleviate her discomfort and prevent further complications, the doctor has advised laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Unfortunately, the surgical cost is overwhelming for her family.
Her condition is gradually worsening. Without timely surgery, Sanam risks complications like gallbladder infection or bile duct blockage, which may seriously impact her health and quality of life.
Sanam lives in a modest rented home with her six family members. Sanam’s husband is a laborer and earns a monthly income of just PKR 20,000. He is the sole provider for a family of seven. Half of his income goes towards paying house rent of PKR 10,000 and the rest is used to meet basic living expenses. With such tight finances, affording the surgical cost is simply beyond their reach.
Sanam shared her heartfelt plea as follows:
“It’s painful not just physically, but also emotionally. I can’t eat properly, work properly, or be there for my children like I used to. I just want to feel normal again. I request you to kindly help me recover from this illness.”
This is where you can make a difference. Your generosity can help Sanam receive the surgery. Let’s join hands to bring her lasting relief from pain and restore her ability to live a fulfilling and healthy life with her loved ones.
