Support Suman’s C-Section Procedure

Suman Bibi's Story
Suman, a 20-year-old Karachi resident, is expecting a second child. Suman went to the hospital for a checkup when she was 34 weeks pregnant. Based on her medical history and present condition, Suman’s gynecologist has suggested that she have a Lower Segment Cesarean Section (LSCS) to guarantee a safe birth for her unborn baby.
She lives in a one-room house in Karachi with her husband and one child. Her husband is a daily wage worker with a monthly income of barely PKR 20,000. This low income barely meets the family’s basic needs, putting them in a limited financial situation. Suman is a housewife, and the family relies exclusively on her husband’s income. They cannot pay for the essential surgical operation due to insufficient financial means.
Suman and her family are in a difficult situation since they do not have the money to pay for the LSCS, which is critical for Suman and her unborn child’s well-being. Without this procedure, their health and survival are risked.
“I am quite concerned about my baby’s health and safety. Your help at this difficult time would mean everything to me and my family. Suman prayed, “Please help us ensure a successful delivery and a healthy future for my child.”
Transparent Hands has guaranteed Suman that they would offer the required C-Section procedure, but they need your help to make this happen. Your contribution can make a huge difference in the lives of Suman and her baby, ensuring a safe and successful birth. Please consider contributing to this great cause to assist Suman in safely bringing her kid into the world. Your support can ease Suman’s financial burden and ensure the safe delivery of her second child, a gift that will be treasured for a lifetime.

Suman Bibi's Story
Suman, a 20-year-old woman from Karachi, was awaiting the arrival of her second child. Due to her history of one C-section, she knew the risks involved. Filled with concerns, she went to a nearby hospital and consulted a gynecologist. After evaluating her condition and considering her medical history, her doctor advised an elective C-section procedure to ensure safe delivery. After learning about the complications, Suman and her husband were devastated, knowing they didn’t have the resources to cover such an expensive surgery, even though it was necessary for her and her baby’s health.
Suman lived in a small house with her husband and one child. Her husband, the sole breadwinner in the family, worked as a daily wage laborer and earned just PKR 20,000 per month. With this meager monthly income, they barely covered their household expenses. They couldn’t afford this much-needed surgery, which left them feeling helpless and worried for both Suman’s and the baby’s safety. That’s when she decided to contact Transparent Hands. Recognizing the critical nature of her situation, we promptly registered her case.
The day of hope arrived and Suman was admitted to Murshid Hospital in Karachi. Dr. Farkhanda Saeed performed her C-section surgery on 3rd September 2024. Her C-section went smoothly and she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Suman stayed in the hospital for three days and she was discharged in satisfactory condition on 5th September 2024.
Suman was overjoyed and she said:
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You’ve given me hope and happiness, and I can’t thank you enough for helping me when I had no one else to turn to. Your support meant a lot to me.”
Suman was able to safely deliver her child just because of you. Your support has brought a new life into the world safely and has given Suman and her family new hope and courage. They are forever grateful to you.
