Yasmeen Awaits a C-Section for a Safe Childbirth

Yasmeen Muneer's Story
Yasmeen Muneer, a 43-year-old woman from Thatta, Sindh, is over 30 weeks pregnant and anxiously awaiting the arrival of her baby. While pregnancy is usually a time of excitement and joy, Yasmeen’s heart has been overshadowed by stress and uncertainty. This is her third pregnancy, and after undergoing two previous C-sections, her doctor has advised another elective C-section for safe delivery. However, the cost of the procedure is beyond her family’s financial reach, leaving them in a state of helplessness.
Without the necessary C-section, both Yasmeen and her baby will be at high risk for complications, including uterine rupture, fetal distress, and life-threatening infections. The thought of losing her child or experiencing medical complications weighs heavily on her heart, and each passing day adds to her worries.
Yasmeen lives in a modest home with her husband, in-laws, and a younger brother-in-law. Her husband works as a dispenser at a private clinic, earning only PKR 15,000 per month. His limited income is barely enough to cover their daily expenses. Despite his hard work, the family struggles to make ends meet, and affording Yasmeen’s C-section seems impossible. With no savings and no one to turn to for financial support, they are left in a desperate situation.
With a heavy heart, Yasmeen shared her concerns as follows:
“All I want is a safe delivery for my baby. My husband works hard, but his earnings barely cover our daily needs. I fear for my child’s life, but we have no means to afford the surgery. Please help us during this time of need.”
You have the power to make a difference. Your generous donations can help Yasmeen receive much-needed medical care, ensuring a safe delivery for both her and her baby. Even a small contribution can bring hope to this struggling family. Donate today and enable Yasmeen to embrace safe and healthy motherhood.

Yasmeen Muneer's Story
Yasmeen Muneer, a 43-year-old woman from Thatta, Sindh, faced a challenging moment when she was pregnant with her third child. Her heart was filled with stress and uncertainty. Having already undergone two C-sections in the past, her doctor advised another elective C-section to ensure a safe delivery for Yasmeen. However, the cost of the surgery was far beyond what her family could afford.
Yasmeen lives in a small, modest home with her husband, in-laws, and a younger brother-in-law. Her husband works as a dispenser at a private clinic and earns just PKR 15,000 per month. His limited income is barely sufficient to meet their basic needs, including food and utility bills. Facing this financial burden, the thought of arranging money for surgery left the family feeling anxious and helpless. Desperate for a solution, Yasmeen reached out to Transparent Hands. After listening to her concerns, we swiftly registered her case.
On April 28, 2025, Yasmeen was admitted to Isra University Hospital, Hyderabad. Her elective C-section was successfully performed by Dr. Raveesha Kumari on April 29, 2025. With proper care and attention, Yasmeen delivered a healthy baby girl. She was discharged in stable condition on May 1, 2025.
Holding her newborn, Yasmeen said:
“This C-section was essential for both me and my baby, but we didn’t know how we’d manage it. Your support came when we had no other option. I am holding my daughter in my arms without fear, and for that, I will always be grateful.”
Yasmeen’s life has taken a peaceful turn. She is recovering well and enjoying her time with her newborn daughter, free from the worries that once consumed her. Her safe delivery brought immense relief and joy to her entire family.
This life-changing experience was made possible by your compassion. Yasmeen and her loved ones are deeply thankful for your kindness in giving them the chance to welcome their baby girl into the world with safety and dignity.
