Bismillah Shahzadi's Story

Bismillah Shahzadi, a 4-year-old girl from Lahore, has been battling with health issues since birth. She frequently experiences shortness of breath, chest discomfort, and fatigue during physical activity. These symptoms have severely affected her ability to play and engage in normal childhood activities. Her family noticed that even mild exertion would leave her tired and breathless.

Recently, her parents took her to a nearby hospital and consulted a doctor. After running some necessary medical tests, the doctor diagnosed Bismillah Shahzadi with Partial Atrioventricular Septal Defect (AVSD) and Right Ventricular Volume Overload (RVVO). These are serious congenital heart defects that affect proper blood circulation and oxygen flow in her body. To treat this condition, the doctor has recommended open-heart surgery for Partial AV Canal Repair.

If left untreated, Bismillah may face the following complications:

Progressive heart failure

Delayed physical growth

Increased risk of permanent heart damage

Bismillah lives in a small rented house in Lahore with her parents and four siblings. Her father sells toys, earning around PKR 30,000 per month. Out of this modest income, PKR 4,000 goes towards utility bills. With the responsibility of a large household and rising living expenses, affording the cost of this major surgery is beyond their means.

Bismillah Shahzadi’s parents said in despair:

“Watching our daughter struggle to breathe and grow weaker each day is the hardest thing for us. We want nothing more than to see her healthy and happy. We kindly request you to come forward and save our daughter’s life through this surgery.”

Bismillah deserves to live a healthy life like other children. However, her life is hanging in the balance, and only you can help her.

Donate now and enable her to grow up healthy and strong.
