Enable Shahida to Embrace Motherhood with a C-Section

Shahida Ali Muhammad's Story
Shahida Ali Muhammad, a 19-year-old woman from Hyderabad, Sindh, is 36 weeks pregnant and eagerly awaiting the birth of her first child. Her pregnancy has been classified as precious due to certain health concerns that can cause risks to both her and her baby. After careful examination, her doctor has advised her to undergo a C-section to ensure a safe and complication-free delivery. However, the cost of the C-section is beyond her financial means.
A precious pregnancy refers to a pregnancy that is considered high-risk due to various factors that increase the likelihood of complications for the mother or baby. In Shahida’s case, opting for a C-section is not a choice but a medical necessity to avoid potential complications such as prolonged labor, fetal distress, or other life-threatening outcomes.
Shahida lives with her husband at her mother’s small mud house. Her husband works as a laborer, earning only PKR 15,000 per month, which barely covers their essential needs. They are already burdened by the cost of living and cannot afford the expenses of a surgical delivery. With the due date rapidly approaching, Shahida and her family are filled with anxiety about how they will manage the cost of the surgery. During this challenging time, Shahida and her husband have turned to Transparent Hands and asked for assistance.
Shahida expressed her plea as follows:
“This is my first baby, and I want to make sure nothing goes wrong. My pregnancy is precious, and C-section is the only option for safe delivery. We don’t have enough money for the surgery. Kindly help me undergo the C-section.”
A timely C-section can protect her and her baby from serious complications. Your generosity can give Shahida the chance to experience motherhood with joy.
Step forward and make her safe delivery possible. Give charity and fill Shahida’s home with happiness.
