Kuldeep Bheel's Story

Kuldeep Bheel, a 1-year-old boy from Ghotki, Sindh, has been experiencing severe health challenges since birth. His parents noticed that he often gasped for breath, and his tiny body was unable to keep up with even simple movements. Moreover, his skin and lips often turn blue. Worried and desperate for answers, his parents took her for a medical check-up. After a series of tests, the doctor diagnosed him with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). It is a congenital heart defect comprising four associated heart abnormalities that occur together. To enable his heart to function properly, the doctor has advised angiography and open-heart surgery for total correction. Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery is out of his family’s reach as they face financial hardships.

Kuldeep’s condition is worsening with each passing day. Without timely surgical intervention, he may face a high risk of life-threatening complications. The thought of losing their beloved son is unbearable for his parents, who watch helplessly as he struggles with each breath.

Kuldeep lives in a small home with his parents and four siblings. His father, the sole breadwinner in the family, is a daily wage laborer and brings in just PKR 15,000 per month. The family lives in extreme poverty, as managing the living expenses of seven members on this income is extremely difficult. Kuldeep’s much-needed heart surgery is costly and his family doesn’t have enough resources to pay for his treatment. During this time of need, Kuldeep’s family reached out to Transparent Hands.

With worry in his voice, Kuldeep’s father shared his plea as follows:

“My little boy is battling with heart issues, and I feel helpless. His heart beats too fast, and time is running out for him. Surgery can save him, but I don’t have the money. Please support my son’s surgery.”

The clocking is ticking for Kuldeep. With your support, we can enable him to have a healthy life. No parents should have to go through these worries. Your generosity can secure Kuldeep’s future.

Join hands with us to make a significant difference in Kuldeep’s life.

Kuldeep Bheel's Story

Kuldeep Bheel, a 1-year-old boy from Ghotki, Sindh, has faced immense health struggles since the day he was born. His parents noticed early on that their little boy often gasped for breath, even while simply moving around or trying to play. His tiny body would tire quickly, and what worried them the most was the frequent bluish coloration of his skin and lips. Desperate to find answers, his parents took him to a local hospital. After a series of tests and careful evaluation, the doctor diagnosed Kuldeep with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), a complex congenital heart defect that involves four serious heart abnormalities occurring together. The doctor explained that without surgical intervention, Kuldeep’s life would remain at risk. To correct his heart’s structure and ensure it could pump blood properly, the doctor recommended angiography followed by open-heart surgery for total correction. However, the cost of this critical procedure was far beyond what Kuldeep’s family could manage. They live in a small home with Kuldeep’s four siblings. His father, the sole breadwinner, works as a daily wage laborer and earns only PKR 15,000 a month—a sum that barely covers the most basic needs of their family of seven. Their financial constraints made it impossible for them to pay for Kuldeep’s surgery. During this challenging time, Kuldeep’s parents turned to Transparent Hands and asked for assistance. Moved by their plea, we swiftly registered his case. On April 29, 2025, Kuldeep was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital, Lahore. On May 1, 2025, Dr. Asim Khan performed his angiography and successfully carried out the open-heart surgery for total correction. After several days of careful monitoring and post-operative care, Kuldeep was discharged in satisfactory condition on May 5, 2025. Expressing their gratitude, Kuldeep’s parents said: “Your support has given our son the gift of life. We had no means to save him on our own. Due to your kindness, he now has a future we had only dreamed of. We are thankful to you for supporting our son’s surgery.” Your generosity has truly changed Kuldeep’s life. His family is forever grateful for the compassion and support that made his cardiac surgery possible.
