Help Ayesha Ilyas Overcome Breast Fibroadenoma

Ayesha Ilyas's Story
Ayesha Ilyas, a 19-year-old girl from Lahore, has been suffering from pain due to a lump in her left breast. Over time, her lump has increased in size and become more painful. At such a young age, she is battling with a disease that has affected her ability to live a life like other girls of her age. Worried about her condition, she visited a doctor at a local hospital. After performing a detailed examination and a few tests, the doctor diagnosed Ayesha with left-sided Breast Fibroadenoma. It is a non-cancerous breast lump composed of glandular and connective tissue. To treat this lump, the doctor has advised excision of the fibroadenoma.
If left untreated, Ayesha’s fibroadenoma can grow larger and cause more pain and discomfort. Moreover, her lump may develop into cancer and cause life-threatening complications. However, her parents can’t afford her surgery.
Ayesha lives in a modest rented home with her joint family of eight members. Her father and son work as daily wage laborers. Their income is just enough to cover their utility bills, amounting to PKR 9000 in addition to the food and other living expenses. After covering their essentials, they are left with nothing to set aside for Ayesha’s surgery. Ayesha’s condition is getting worse day by day, but her parents have no option other than to be patient. Their neighbor told them about Transparent Hands. They reached out to us and asked for help.
Ayesha’s parents said in despair:
“Our daughter is battling with a disease that has drained her physically and emotionally. We want her to live a healthy life, but the financial burden of the surgery is beyond our means. Kindly help Ayesha undergo the surgery.”
