Help Samina Overcome Uterine Fibroids

Samina Ghani's Story
Samina Ghani, a 35-year-old woman from Karachi, has been battling with a painful and exhausting condition for the past six months. She suffers from heavy menstrual bleeding, which has left her physically and emotionally drained. Moreover, she faces difficulty in performing her daily tasks. After months of suffering, Samina finally visited a doctor, who ran some tests and diagnosed her with uterine fibroids—non-cancerous growths in the uterus that are causing severe symptoms. The doctor has advised her to undergo a Hysterectomy, a surgical procedure to remove the uterus. However, the surgical cost is overwhelming for Samina’s family.
Without this surgery, Samina’s condition may worsen. It may lead to more severe bleeding, anemia, and other health complications that can impact her quality of life even further.
Samina lives with her husband in a small rented house in Karachi. Her husband works as a laborer and earns just PKR 32,000 per month. Out of this limited income, PKR 8000 goes towards house rent, and another PKR 4000 is spent on utility bills. It leaves very little for food, daily expenses, and medical care. With no savings and no one else to turn to, they are unable to afford the cost of the surgery that can change Samina’s life.
Samina shared her heartfelt plea as follows:
“I have been bearing this pain for months. I just want to feel healthy again, to look after my home, and be there for my husband. But the cost of treatment is more than what we can ever afford. Kindly help me find relief from this suffering.”
Your generosity can help Samina receive the much-needed surgery. Together, we can ease her pain and give her the chance to live a healthy, and fulfilling life once again.
Let’s step forward and help Samina begin a new and pain-free chapter of her life.

Samina Ghani's Story
Samina Ghani, a 35-year-old woman from Karachi, had been battling with a painful and exhausting condition for the past six months. She suffered from heavy menstrual bleeding that left her physically weak and emotionally distressed. Concerned about her worsening health, Samina finally decided to seek medical help. After conducting some essential tests, the doctor diagnosed her with uterine fibroids—non-cancerous growths in her uterus that were causing her severe symptoms. To restore her health, the doctor recommended a Myomectomy, a surgical procedure to remove the fibroids.
However, the cost of the surgery was far beyond what Samina and her family could afford. Samina lives with her husband in a small rented house in Karachi. Her husband works as a laborer, earning just PKR 32,000 per month, which barely covers their rent, utility bills, and other household expenses. With no savings to rely on, they were devastated and worried about Samina’s deteriorating condition. During this time of despair, they learned about Transparent Hands through a friend. They reached out to us with hope, and after listening to their concerns, we registered Samina’s case.
On April 28, 2025, Samina was admitted to Murshid Hospital in Karachi. The next day, on April 29, 2025, Dr. Samreen Zeeshan performed her Myomectomy, skillfully removing the fibroids and helping Samina reclaim her health. After receiving appropriate post-operative care, Samina was discharged from the hospital in a satisfactory condition on May 1, 2025.
Samina shared her heartfelt gratitude by saying: “I was unable to handle my daily routine due to excessive bleeding and weakness. Thanks to your generous support, I am finally free from this pain. You have given me a chance to live a normal life again. For that, my husband and I are deeply grateful.”
Your kindness has not only alleviated Samina’s suffering but also restored her hope and strength. Today, she is looking forward to a healthier life, free from the shadows of illness. Her family extends their heartfelt thanks to you and all the donors for making this possible.
