Hina Muhammad Ismail Khan's Story

Hina Ismail Khan, a 26-year-old woman from Karachi, is in her 32nd week of pregnancy. This is her third delivery, and she has previously undergone two C-sections. Due to her medical history, her gynecologist has strongly advised an elective C-section for the safe delivery of her baby and to prevent complications during childbirth. However, the cost of the C-section is beyond her family’s means.

If Hina does not undergo the required C-section, she and her baby may face serious complications. Given her history of two C-sections, a normal delivery may cause significant risks, including uterine rupture, excessive bleeding, and fetal distress.

Hina lives with her husband and one child in their modest home. Her husband works as a shopkeeper, earning only PKR 25,000 per month. This income barely covers their household expenses, including utility bills of PKR 2,500, food, and other essentials. Despite their modest living, they have been struggling to make ends meet.

The cost of the C-section is far beyond what they can manage. They have no savings, and delaying the procedure may result in serious health risks for both Hina and her unborn child. During this time of need, Hina and her husband contacted Transparent Hands and asked for help.

Her husband said:

“I just want Hina and the baby to be safe. The thought of losing either of them because I can’t afford the surgery is unbearable. We need  your help to make sure this delivery is safe and free from risks.”

Your support can provide her with the much-needed medical care. By supporting Hina’s C-section, you will help save two precious lives.
