Hina Shafique Needs a C-Section for a Safe Delivery

Hina Shafique's Story

Hina Shafique, a 26-year-old woman from Lahore, is over 30 weeks pregnant and preparing to welcome a new life into the world. As a mother of two and currently in her second pregnancy, her gynecologist has advised an elective C-section for a safe delivery. Given her medical history of two C-sections, a normal delivery will cause risks to both the mother and the baby. The planned surgical delivery is necessary to prevent complications and ensure the well-being of both.

Despite the importance of this procedure, Hina is unable to undergo it. She is a housewife and depends entirely on her husband’s limited income. Her husband works as a factory worker and earns just PKR 25,000 per month. This modest amount barely covers all household expenses, including food, utilities, and the needs of their two children.
