Let’s Ease Waqas’s Throat Pain

Muhammad Waqas's Story
Muhammad Waqas, a 35-year-old man from Lahore, is experiencing throat pain, fever, and cough. He also suffers from hoarseness of voice, which has made his daily life extremely difficult. His job as a driver demands both energy and stamina. However, his illness leaves him weak, fatigued, and unable to focus properly. Concerned about his health, he visited a doctor at a nearby hospital. His doctor examined him and advised some medical tests to confirm the condition, followed by treatment with medicines and regular follow-up visits.
Unfortunately, Waqas’s financial struggles stand in the way of his timely treatment. If he does not undergo treatment, his condition may lead to:
· Infection spreading to tonsils, sinuses, or ears
· Severe throat pain and voice issues
· Risk of abscess or rheumatic fever
Waqas works as a driver and earns just PKR 35,000 per month. He is the only earning member and is responsible for supporting his family, which includes four siblings. His modest income barely covers his household expenses, including Rs. 2,500 for utility bills, food, and other essentials. This leaves nothing behind for additional medical costs. Given his financial situation, he can’t afford his treatment. During this hard time, Waqas has reached out to Transparent Hands and asked for assistance.
Waqas expressed his heartfelt plea as follows:
“I am struggling with pain and discomfort every day, but I cannot stop working because my family depends on me. I can’t afford my treatment. Therefore, I ask you to help me during this time of need.”
Waqas deserves to live a healthy life free from illness. Every contribution, no matter how small or big, will make a meaningful impact on his life. Come forward and donate now to provide Waqas with much-needed treatment.
