Ayesha Mehboob Ali's Story

Ayesha Mehboob Ali, a 12-year-old girl from Khairpur, has been suffering from constant breathing difficulty and nasal blockage for the past two years. Her condition has made everyday life a struggle. Whether it’s playing with friends or sleeping at night, Ayesha feels like she’s always fighting for a proper breath. Recently, her parents took her to a local hospital and consulted a doctor.

After a thorough examination, the doctor diagnosed Ayesha with Deviated Nasal Septum (DNS). It is a condition where the thin wall dividing the nasal passages is displaced, making it harder to breathe and often causing repeated sinus infections or discomfort. To treat her condition and allow her to breathe normally again, the doctor strongly recommended SMR (Submucous Resection). However, the cost of the surgery is beyond her family’s financial capacity.

If she is unable to undergo the recommended surgery, her condition may worsen. It may lead to chronic sinus infections, persistent breathing problems, facial pain, and impaired growth due to poor sleep and oxygen intake.

Ayesha lives with her parents and seven siblings in a modest home. Her father works as a government school teacher and is the sole breadwinner for the family. With eight children studying, the combined monthly educational expenses alone amount to around PKR 28,000. On top of these costs, the family still has to manage household expenses, leaving them with no room to set aside the money required for Ayesha’s surgery.

Ayesha’s parents said in despair:

“It breaks our hearts to see our daughter struggling for every breath. She is so young, yet her days are filled with discomfort instead of joy. We want her to have a normal childhood, but we don’t have enough money for her surgery. Kindly support our daughter’s surgery.”

Only you can help her breathe freely, sleep peacefully, and live the childhood she deserves.

Donate today, as your kindness can turn her discomfort into a lifetime of relief and possibilities.
