Raja Sajjad Hussain Needs Cholecystectomy to Overcome Pain

Raja Sajjad Hussain's Story
Raja Sajjad Hussain, a 38-year-old man from Rawalpindi, has been suffering from recurring pain in his right hypochondrium for the past several months. Along with the pain, he frequently experiences nausea and vomiting, which have made his daily life increasingly difficult. The discomfort intensifies when he tries to continue his work as a driver, making it hard for him to provide for his family.
Concerned about his health problems, Sajjad recently visited a doctor for a thorough evaluation. After detailed tests and a consultation, he was diagnosed with Cholelithiasis – gallstones, causing inflammation and pain. His doctor has recommended a Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy, a surgical procedure to remove the gallbladder. Without this surgery, Sajjad risks developing severe complications, including gallbladder infection, blockage of bile ducts, or pancreatitis, all of which can cause serious threats to his health.
Sajjad lives in a modest house with his wife. As the sole breadwinner, he earns PKR 35,000 per month working as a driver. This income barely covers their household expenses. On top of food and daily needs, he has utility bills of PKR 10,000 to pay each month, leaving very little savings. It is not possible for him to arrange the money needed for surgery. This financial burden has left Sajjad and his wife deeply worried about their future.
Sharing his heartfelt plea with us, Sajjad said:
“The pain and nausea have made it very difficult for me to continue my work. My doctor says surgery is the only solution, but I do not have the resources to pay for it. I request your kind support so that I can regain my health and continue working for my family.”
