Secure Yeman’s Future with Cardiac Surgery

Muhammad Yeman's Story
Muhammad Yeman, a 12-year-old boy from Gujranwala, has been suffering from shortness of breath and chest discomfort since birth. Yeman’s condition has prevented him from living the active and joyful life that every child deserves. His daily routine is overshadowed by fatigue and breathlessness, even with minimal physical activity. At an early age, Yeman was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) – a complex heart defect that affects normal blood flow through the heart. To manage this, he previously underwent a left-sided BT Shunt surgery.
This procedure provided temporary relief and improved his circulation through lungs. After some time, he again faced the same complications. During his recent follow-up, he was diagnosed with small Pulmonary Arteries (PAs). His doctor has advised open-heart surgery involving PA Plasty and a right-sided BT Shunt to further improve his blood circulation. Without this life-saving surgery, Muhammad Yeman may face life-threatening complications such as heart failure.
Yeman lives in a small house along with 11 family members. His father and two uncles work as salesmen at a shop, earning a combined monthly income of PKR 52,000. Their monthly utility bills total PKR 10,000, and they spend around PKR 3,000 on educational needs. With three school-going children and a large household to support, the family cannot afford the cost of this expensive cardiac surgery. During this time of need, his parents contacted Transparent Hands and asked for help.
Yeman’s parents expressed their heartfelt plea as follows:
“We’ve done everything we can for our son, but now we need your help. He’s been fighting with this condition since birth. We just want to see him breathe freely and live like other children. Kindly save our son’s life.”
The clock is ticking for Yeman and only you can save him. Your kindness can give Muhammad Yeman a new and healthier life.
We urge you to be generous and support Yeman’s life-saving heart surgery.
