Stand with Irum in Her Fight Against Breast Cancer

Irum Waris's Story
Irum Waris, a 45-year-old woman from Islamabad, has a lump in her left breast. Initially, she dismissed it as something minor, but the lump continued to grow, and it caused discomfort. Concerned for her health, she went to a doctor, who conducted a series of tests and scans. The doctor diagnosed her with left-sided Breast Carcinoma (Breast Cancer). To control the disease, Irum has already received chemotherapy sessions.
However, for continued management and to treat her condition effectively, her doctor has recommended left-sided Breast Conservative Surgery (BCS) with Axillary Clearance. Unfortunately, the cost of this operation is far beyond what she and her family can manage.
If Irum does not undergo timely surgery, her health may worsen, leading to:
Cancer spreading to nearby tissues and organs
Severe pain and weakness
Life-threatening complications
Irum lives in a modest home with her elderly parents. She is divorced, has no job, and depends entirely on her father’s pension of just PKR 30,000 per month. With this limited income, her father manages household expenses, medical costs, and daily needs. With no other source of support, the family cannot afford the expense of cancer surgery.
Irum shared her worries as follows:
“Each day I live with fear of what may happen if I don’t get treatment on time. I want to fight this illness and live a healthy life, but the surgery is beyond our financial reach. Please step forward and help me during this difficult time.”
Irum is relying on your generosity. With your support, she can undergo this essential surgery and continue her recovery from cancer. Together, we can help her reclaim her health and restore her hope.
Give Sadaqah and make a meaningful difference in Irum’s life.
