Stand With Us to Support Iftikhar’s Heart Surgery

Iftikhar Ahmed's Story
Iftikhar Ahmed, a 39-year-old man from Chiniot, has been experiencing breathlessness for the past ten years. He suffers from persistent chest pain and finds it difficult to breathe, especially when lying down. These symptoms have progressively worsened over time, making it impossible for him to work and provide for his family. His declining health has severely affected his quality of life, and daily activities have become a constant struggle.
Recently, Iftikhar visited a local hospital for a consultation. After conducting detailed tests and evaluations, the doctor diagnosed him with Severe Aortic Stenosis (AS) and Moderate Aortic Regurgitation (AR). This means that the aortic valve in his heart is critically narrowed, and some blood is leaking backward into the heart due to incomplete valve closure. The doctor has strongly advised Mechanical Aortic Valve Replacement to ensure proper heart functioning and prevent life-threatening complications.
If Iftikhar does not undergo this surgery, he may face the following medical outcomes:
Worsening chest pain and breathlessness
Increased risk of heart failure
Life-threatening arrhythmias
Sudden death
Iftikhar lives in a modest home with his wife and five children. He has two sons who work at a furniture shop, and together they earn a monthly income of PKR 50,000. Their household expenses include PKR 4,000 for utility bills and PKR 4,000 for educational costs. With limited income and ongoing family responsibilities, the cost of this heart surgery is far beyond their reach.
In a voice filled with desperation, Iftikhar said:
“Every breath feels like a burden. I can’t work or support my family anymore. My sons are doing their best, but we can’t afford this surgery. I need your support to undergo surgery and survive.”
Iftikhar relies on your generosity. Your support can restore Iftikhar’s health and bring hope to his family.
Give Sadaqah and empower Iftikhar with much-needed cardiac surgery.
