Support Anum Liaqat’s C-Section to Ensure a Safe Delivery
Anum Liaqat's Story
Anum Liaqat, a 44-year-old woman from Sheikhupura, is pregnant and hoping for a safe and healthy delivery. During her recent medical checkups, the doctor carefully reviewed her health condition and pregnancy history to ensure the well-being of both the mother and baby. Anum’s pregnancy record shows she has previously delivered two children through C-sections. Therefore, her doctor has recommended another C-section to ensure a safe childbirth. However, her family can’t afford her C-section.
If the C-section is delayed or not performed on time, Anum may face serious medical complications such as:
- Obstructed or prolonged labor
- Excessive bleeding during delivery
- Risk of uterine rupture
These complications can be extremely dangerous and may threaten the lives of both the mother and her unborn baby. A timely C-section is essential to prevent these risks and ensure a safe delivery. Anum belongs to a financially struggling household. She lives in a rented house with her husband and two children. Each month, they have to pay PKR 10,000 for house rent and approximately PKR 5,000 for electricity, gas, and other utility bills. After paying for these necessary expenses, very little money is left to cover food expenses and other household needs. Due to their financial constraints, paying for Anum’s C-section has become extremely difficult for the family.
During this difficult time, Anum reached out to Transparent Hands for help and shared her worries in these words:
“I am expecting my third baby, and the doctor has advised me to undergo a C-section because my previous children were also delivered through surgery. Our family is already struggling to manage basic household expenses. I need your support so that I can safely deliver.”
Let’s stand together to help Anum in this challenging time. Your healthcare donations can bring hope and happiness to her family.
