Muhammad Ishaq's Story

Muhammad Ishaq, an 18-year-old man from Hyderabad, Sindh, has been suffering with severe pain that has disrupted his daily life and studies. About a month ago, he began experiencing intense pain in his left flank, accompanied by frequent nausea and vomiting. The discomfort became so unbearable that he struggled to concentrate on his education and perform routine activities. Concerned about his worsening condition, his family took him to a nearby hospital for a consultation. After conducting the necessary examinations and laboratory investigations, the doctors diagnosed him with a Left Ureteric Stone, a painful condition caused by a stone blocking the ureter. To remove the obstruction and prevent further complications, the doctors recommended Left URS with Lithoclasty and Double J Stent placement. Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery is far beyond the family’s financial means. If left untreated, the ureteric stone may cause worsening pain, recurrent urinary tract infections, and blockage of urine flow. Over time, the obstruction can damage the affected kidney and reduce its function.

Life has not been easy for Ishaq and his family. He is a student who dreams of building a better future, but his illness has become a major obstacle in his path. His father works as a security guard and tries his best to support the family. The family’s total monthly income is approximately PKR 60,000. This income is used to support seven family members and cover all household expenses, utility bills, and educational needs. Due to financial hardships, they are unable to arrange the money required for Ishaq’s surgery. As the pain continues to affect his daily life, Ishaq and his family live with constant worry. The burden of illness, coupled with financial hardships, has left them feeling helpless. With nowhere else to turn, they reached out to Transparent Hands and asked for support.

Speaking about his condition, Ishaq said:

“The pain becomes so severe that I cannot focus on my studies or carry out daily activities. My family wants to help me, but they cannot afford the surgery. I dream of recovering and continuing my education without this constant suffering. Kindly help me during this difficult time.”

Muhammad Ishaq deserves the opportunity to live without pain and pursue his dreams without the burden of illness holding him back. Your generosity can help him receive the surgery and restore hope to his future.
