Muhammad Ibrahim's Story

Muhammad Ibrahim, a 45-year-old man from Sialkot, has been suffering since he had an accident around seven years ago. In 2018, while filling a cylinder, a sudden gas leakage led to a fire and a devastating blast. The explosion caused severe trauma to his right hand and arm. Despite the doctors’ best efforts, his wounded hand could not be saved, and an amputation was performed below the elbow.

Since that tragic day, Ibrahim’s life has been filled with challenges. Recently, Ibrahim consulted a doctor who recommended a right below-elbow prosthesis. Without the prosthetic arm, Ibrahim will continue to struggle with low self-esteem, emotional distress, and social withdrawal. This limb can uplift his life. Unfortunately, the cost of the prosthetic arm is far beyond his financial means.

Ibrahim lives in a modest house with eight family members, including his wife and six children. As the sole breadwinner, he earns only PKR 15,000 per month as a farmer. This modest income barely covers their basic needs, including PKR 3,000 for utility bills and PKR 2,000 for educational expenses. There is no way for him to save enough for the prosthesis. During this time of need, Ibrahim has contacted Transparent Hands and asked for help.

With heartfelt emotions, Ibrahim shared:

“For a long time, I have been living without my right arm. My doctor has recommended an artificial limb that can help me regain some confidence and improve my emotional well-being. However, I can’t afford this prosthetic arm. I desperately need your support during this time of need.”

Ibrahim is relying on your kindness. Your contributions, no matter how small or big, will make a meaningful difference in his life.

Let’s join hands and donate to provide Ibrahim with an artificial limb.
