Pay Sadaqah Online For a Healthier Pakistan

A healthy person lives a robust life and has a better chance of realizing their full potential. The same is true for a nation. A healthy nation is a strong one. Pakistan is a young nation with great potential; however, we face several challenges in providing opportunities for growth and sustenance.
According to a report, more than 50% Pakistanis lack access to universal healthcare. It is our duty to contribute to the mission of organizations that work selflessly to fill this gap. Islam encourages us to assist others and promises numerous spiritual rewards for giving Sadaqah, a form of voluntary charity. In this article, we will discuss why and how you can pay Sadaqah online to support deserving Pakistanis.
Islam, Patriotism, and Why Pakistanis Need Your Help
Islam generally encourages us to love and respect everyone. However, loving one’s homeland is natural, and we remain deeply rooted in its traditions and customs, even when we leave. The Prophet (ﷺ) had a great emotional attachment to His homeland:
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said to Makkah, “How sweet of a land you are and how dear you are to me, and if it were not that my people expelled me from you, I would not have lived in other than you.” (Jami` at-Tirmidhi, 3926)
We should always strive to repay our homeland and contribute to the welfare of its people. There are many ways to make valuable contributions. However, helping needy patients can change the course of many destinies.
Human lives are full of trials and tribulations. Sometimes, diseases are temporary and don’t affect a person’s life, but in the case of more serious diseases, the patient suffers along with the entire family. This is especially true if the person is the family’s primary breadwinner. Unfortunately, many such cases occur in Pakistan. We are still primarily a rural society. According to the International Labour Organisation report, Pakistan has the largest gap between men’s and women’s employment rates in South Asia. Consequently, when a breadwinner gets sick, the whole family suffers.
According to the latest statistics, almost 44.7% of Pakistanis live below the poverty line. That means that a significant proportion of the population cannot afford healthcare. This is very problematic because many people have to suffer, even though their conditions are treatable. All that suffering can be reduced if we give Zakat and Sadaqah to organizations that are dedicated to helping such individuals. You can pay Sadaqah online safely and conveniently to support an organization like Transparent Hands.

Earn Spiritual Rewards by Giving Charity
While Zakat is the mandatory form of charity in Islam, Sadaqah is a voluntary form of charity that offers numerous spiritual rewards. You can help needy patients with your Zakat and Sadaqah.
The Quran instructs the believers to spend in Allah’s (SWT) way:
“So fear Allah as much as you are able and listen and obey and spend [in the way of Allah ]; it is better for your selves. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul – it is those who will be the successful.”(Surat At-Taghābun, 64:16)
In another verse, the Quran promises great rewards for those willing to be charitable:
“Those who spend their wealth [in Allah ‘s way] by night and by day, secretly and publicly – they will have their reward with their Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.” (Surat Al-Baqarah, 2:274)
There are many related Hadiths that promise great rewards for people willing to spend in Allah’s (SWT) way. According to a Hadith, giving Sadaqah can even save us from hardships and calamities.
Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “Give the sadaqa without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.”*
Razln transmitted it.
*“The idea is that it acts as a barrier beyond which calamity cannot pass.”(Mishkat al-Masabih, 1887)
The Quran also mentions that saving a human life is akin to saving the entire humanity:
“Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land – it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one – it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And our messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs. Then indeed many of them, [even] after that, throughout the land, were transgressors.” (Surat Al-Mā’idah, 5:32)
