Abdul Kareem's Story

Abdul Kareem, a resilient 60-year-old man residing in Karachi, found himself trapped in a cycle of excruciating pain and distressing bleeding caused by a severe anal condition known as an anal fissure. For the past six months, Abdul Kareem has been silently suffering, desperately seeking relief from his debilitating symptoms. Despite his efforts to find temporary relief through local doctors and medications, his condition persisted, leaving him in dire need of a surgical intervention known as a fissurectomy.

However, Abdul Kareem’s financial circumstances, coupled with his jobless status and the responsibility of providing for his five children, made it impossible for him to afford the necessary treatment. It seemed like a bleak and hopeless situation for Abdul Kareem, who had lost hope of ever finding relief from his pain.

On the 16th of January 2024, Dr. Attaullah, a skilled and experienced surgeon, performed the surgery to give relief to Abdul Kareem. The procedure was a success, alleviating Abdul Kareem’s pain and distress. After one day of post-operative care and recovery, he was discharged from the hospital in a satisfactory condition.
