Abdul Rehman’s Staged Urethroplasty is completed
Abdul Rehman's Story
Abdul Rehman, aged 3 years, was born with a congenital condition known as penoscrotal hypospadias in which the opening of his urethra was not at its normal site, resulting in difficulty and abnormal urination. His condition is severe in nature and in order to correct it, staged urethroplasty or Bracka was advised. For this purpose, Abdul Rehman was admitted to Maryam Memorial Hospital, where Bracka-1 procedure was performed by Dr. Omar Fraz on 01.03.2021. He was discharged from the hospital in a satisfactory condition after four days of stay. Abdul Rehman is now hopeful of living a better life as he gradually recovers from the surgery.
