Abdul Rehman's Story

Abdul Rehman, aged 23 years, was at his workplace when he first felt ghastly pangs of chest pain and extreme discomfort along with sweating, yet he ignored these recurrent symptoms for around a year. When his symptoms got increasingly unbearable, he had himself examined. The doctor diagnosed him with an atrial septal defect (ASD). He was advised device occlusion for his ASD. For this purpose, Abdul Rehman was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital Lahore and his cardiac procedure was performed by Dr. Masood Sadiq on 18.02.2021. He stayed in the hospital for one day and was discharged in a stable condition. Abdul Rehman’s chest pain has ceased and he feels that his health has significantly been improving.
