Abu Bakar's Story

Abu Bakar, a 28-year-old from Karachi, had been struggling to breathe for 16 years. His family couldn’t afford the surgery he needed, so he relied on a nebulizer and nasal spray to manage his symptoms. But one day, at a medical camp in Baldia Town, he was introduced to Transparent Hands – a non-profit organization that provides free medical treatments to those in need. Transparent Hands arranged for Abu Bakar to receive a septoplasty surgery on 17-06-2022 at Patel Hospital, performed by Dr. Talha. The surgery was a success and Abu Bakar can finally breathe comfortably again.

He is incredibly grateful to Transparent Hands donors who have given him the opportunity to improve his health and quality of life. This story is an inspiration to others facing similar financial challenges, and a reminder that access to quality medical care can change lives.
