Ali Raza's Story
Ali Raza, a 17-year-old resident of Kasur, had his life turned upside down when a road accident severely crushed his left leg. Despite the best efforts of local doctors, his leg could not be saved, and he had to undergo an amputation above the knee. Ali was determined not to let this tragedy define him, and he set out on a path of recovery and transformation.
However, the road to recovery seemed challenging, as Ali couldn’t afford a prosthetic leg that would enable him to walk again. In his darkest moments, he reached out to Hope Rehabilitation Centre in Lahore and Transparent Hands, His artificial leg was fixed on 25-10-2022 under the supervision of Dr.Khalid. This breakthrough marked a turning point in his journey. The prosthetic limb not only provided him with the ability to walk again but also opened doors to a brighter future. With his new artificial leg, he could pursue his dream of completing his studies. The assistance he received enabled him to return to college and actively participate in academic activities. Ali, who was no longer limited by his physical condition, set a good example for his friends, demonstrating that resilience and perseverance can overcome any challenge. Beyond his studies, Ali recognized the importance of acquiring additional skills to become financially stable. He is also determined to explore opportunities and learn vocational skills that would empower him to secure a livelihood. With his artificial leg, he is determined to shape his future independently.
