Two-and-a-half-year-old Ali Ahmed, a resident of Okara had necrotizing fasciitis in the perineal region. He underwent colostomy surgery in the first month of his life at a local hospital. The doctor advised his parents to wait for the colostomy reversal surgery till their kid’s wounds were fully settled and healed. After some time, his parents tried to get an appointment for the colostomy reversal surgery but they faced continuous delays. His parents reached out to Transparent Hands and we registered his case. Ali Ahmed was admitted to Ittefaq hospital on 1-06-2022. His operation was performed by Dr. Muhammad Daud on 3-06-2022. He was discharged from the hospital after six days of stay. He is feeling better now.
