Aliza Fatima's Story
Nine years old Aliza, a resident of Lahore, has been suffering from Dyspnea on mild exertion. Upon consultation and work up, she was diagnosed with Atrial Septal Defect. The doctor advised Aliza to undergo Closure of Atrial Septal Defect surgery. Hence, she was sent to University of Lahore Teaching Hospital for her procedure. Her surgery was done by Dr. Salman A Shah on 25-11-2021 with the help of Pakistan Children Heart’s Foundation. Her surgery was successful and she was discharged after four days of hospital stay in satisfactory condition. She has now recovered and is looking forward to a bright future ahead.
