Four-year-old Amber, a resident of Muzaffargarh, whose world had been shrouded in silence ever since she was born with congenital sensorineural hearing loss. Her parents were heartbroken when they noticed that she wasn’t responding to their voices at the tender age of one. At the local hospital, she was diagnosed with sensorineural deafness. Amber was admitted to National Hospital, Lahore where Dr. Naveed skillfully performed the cochlear implant surgery on 10-06-2023. With precision and skill, the doctor implanted the internal component, marking a significant milestone in her path toward restoring her hearing. After merely one day in the hospital, she was discharged, her spirits uplifted by a newfound hope.
