Amiran bibi’s prosthetic leg has been successfully placed
Amiran Bibi's Story
Amiran Bibi, aged 63, a resident of Mian Channu, is a diabetic patient. 4 years back, Amiran Bibi got an inflammation in the big toe of her left foot. The doctor diagnosed her with diabetic foot and amputated the big toe of her left foot in order to stop the spreading of infection. Unfortunately, over time, her inflammation spread so the doctor had to opt for below left knee amputation. Now, in order to run her daily errands, she required a left below knee prosthesis. She was sent to Hope Rehabilitation Centre for this purpose where she received her new prosthetic leg after consultation with Dr. Khalid Niazi on 08.09.2021. She is on her way to recovery and to start a normal life again.
