Amna Murtaza's Story

Amna Murtza, 13 years old, had an absent right leg below her knee level. This caused her to be dependent on other people which became an inconvenience for her as well as her family. On consultation with a physician, she was recommended a below knee artificial leg which was arranged for her and installed about six years ago. This leg did not work properly. The family recently consulted the Transparent Hands team and through their support, Amna’s recommended prosthesis was arranged by HOPE Rehabilitation Center. It was fixed by Dr. Khalid on 10.09.2020. Amna is delighted to be able to walk on her own.
