Anaya Fatima's Story

Anaya Fatima 3 ½ years old girl was suffering from Anorectal Malformation (ARM), resulting in abnormal communication between rectum and genital tract. Her colostomy was done at 3 months of age to make temporary passage of stool and she was advised surgery to construct her back passage at the normal site. Her surgery was done in Akram Medical Complex on 17-01-19 by Dr. Naveed Haider and her Anterior Sagittal Anorectalplasty (ASARP) was done. She stayed for two days in hospital with good post-operative recovery and was discharged with follow-up advice.
